Parenting never ceases to test us. Your kid could come home crying with a hurt and bruised knee from running downhill and falling, or you may get a call from the principal of their school informing you of something they did. Any good parent must master the art of being loving, stringent, disciplinary, patient, and creative all at once. It's a constant cycle of ups and downs when you have children, and not enough people consider all facets involved when they decide to procreate.

My sister's 1-year-old daughter was just caught holding a baby bat inside their own home! It's really a question mark as to how the bat got inside their home, and how their precious little girl came to discover it. Needless to say, it gave my sister and her husband quite the spook. Children are so fragile – their immune systems aren't developed, and they truly just don't know how to take care of themselves. Their vulnerability is what makes adults instinctually want to protect them, it's absolutely biological.
